Description

The Hydra Europe Symposium is an event for collection managers, collection owners and their software developers that will provide insights into how Hydra can serve your needs. The main event spans two days and provides two strands of content tailored to a less technical and to a more technical audience. The Thursday sessions, aimed at the "less technical", will provide a high level introduction to the Hydra Project (the software, the Community and what it means to "adopt Hydra") aimed at those who simply "want to know more". For the "more technical", Thursday's session looks in general terms at how Hydra's software is written, supported and used. The Friday sessions in both strands will be devoted to topics chosen by the attendees as determined by their votes when booking tickets.

Tickets are available for both days or just the Thursday to enable attendance at the level of participation that suits you.

The HHuLOA project has a specific area of interest in how institutions can make use of open access to support the development of research activity for the institution.
